Zandra Jo Galván has been a passionate educator for 26 years and has had the privilege to work with English learners and their families during her service as a classroom teacher, academic coach, director of curriculum & instruction, Assistant Superintendent of Educational Services, and now as Superintendent of Greenfield Union School District. In her role, Zandra supports all staff TK-8 with curriculum, instruction, and assessments, designs professional development for veteran and new teachers, leads the LCAP process, and supports all aspects of the district’s schools.
Dr. Kevin McGowan has been the Superintendent of the Brighton Central School District since 2009. He began his career as an elementary teacher in the Starpoint Central School District before becoming a high school assistant principal at Iroquois High School and then an elementary principal at Wales Primary School. Prior to Brighton, Kevin was the Superintendent of the Warsaw Central School District in Wyoming County. He has had the great gift and honor of working in rural and suburban settings and facilitating the development of curricular and financial solutions where capacity was at all ends of the spectrum.
Greg Bonewald serves as Deputy Superintendent of Victoria ISD and provides leadership for the District’s Business, Operations, Talent, Communications and Athletic Departments. His major focus over the past two years has been ensuring the Victoria public remains at the forefront of public education by creating community ownership around complex decision-making. In these efforts, he has served as lead facilitator for several Community Task Forces, including the Efficiency and Resource Management, School Boundary and Bond Planning Task Forces. Greg has previously served as a science teacher, coach, Assistant Principal, High School Principal, Executive Director and Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources.
