KEYNOTE
Hypocritical Race Theory:
The Current Polarization of the American Educational Experience
Education in America has been politicized since its inception, and to some extent always will be. But given the recent events that have redefined how the educational experience has been weaponized, most often to the detriment of students, we have to be more intentional about how we dispel the mythologies that plague what, where, and how students learn. As we continue to reimagine education to benefit all students, especially our most vulnerable, we must continue to engage in constructive dialogue that assists in the minimization of the destructive attitudes that historically and presently challenge this possibility.
Join Dr. Sams for a riveting keynote address to kick off our Education Leadership Summit.
Lead your District into the Future
As an education leader, the past year may have put you into survival mode—but many of the pandemic measures have positively impacted students, staff, and communities. At our second ThoughtExchange Leadership Summit, we dug into the pandemic lessons that can help leaders like you build a framework for replicating these successful practices in your district.
Throughout the Summit, we used the ThoughtExchange platform to hold interactive discussions and get the perspective of education leaders nationwide around what the school year looks like in 21-22 and beyond.
