Canada’s fastest growing startup climbed 245% revenue growth in 2021 in tandem with the massive growth in distributed and hybrid workplaces

Rossland, B.C. – November 17, 2021 ThoughtExchange, the world’s only Enterprise Discussion Management platform powered by patented anti-bias technology, today announced it ranked 453 on the Deloitte Technology Fast 500™ list. This list is an annual ranking of the 500 fastest-growing technology, media, telecommunications, life sciences, fintech and energy tech companies in North America which is now in its 27th year. ThoughtExchange grew 245% over the past year as many leaders relied on its crowdsourced insights to find strategic alignment and unlock performance within their teams. This recognition solidifies ThoughtExchange’s  status as the must-have enterprise tool for today’s most successful leaders as organizations seek unbiased input across their distributed workforces.

“We are honored to make this prestigious list of the fastest growing companies in North America. This recognition from Deloitte underscores the enormous potential in the Enterprise Discussion Management space, especially as hybrid remote work increasingly becomes the norm, ” said ThoughtExchange CEO Dave MacLeod. “We are just getting started in our mission to support our customers in surfacing their most important discussion insights from across their organizations, fueling sharper decisions, right actions and better performance.”

ThoughtExchange allows participants to respond and rate each others’ thoughts in real time, 100% anonymously, breaking down corporate hierarchies with its anti-bias technology. Results become immediate data that leaders then use to drive meaningful change within their teams and businesses.

“Each year the Technology Fast 500 shines a light on leading innovators in technology and this year is no exception,” said Paul Silverglate, vice chair, Deloitte LLP and U.S. technology sector leader. “In the face of innumerable challenges resulting from the pandemic, the best and brightest were able to pivot, reinvent and transform and grow. We celebrate the winning organizations and especially the talented employees driving their success.”

Making the Deloitte Technology Fast 500™ list is the second Deloitte accolade in 2021 for ThoughtExchange. The 100% remote-first distributed company secured a 453 spot on the Deloitte Tech Fast 50 list.

“The pandemic has underscored the urgent need for tech solutions in a variety of areas across health care, fintech, energy tech, entertainment, to name a few, so reliance on innovators like the winners of the Technology Fast 500 is more important than ever,” said Christie Simons, partner, Deloitte & Touche LLP and industry leader for technology, media and telecommunications within Deloitte’s audit & assurance practice. “These companies are not only at the cutting edge, transforming the way we do business, but most importantly, recognize the strategic importance of ongoing innovation, especially in the ever-changing world of technology.”

ThoughtExchange’s SaaS platform is favored by a growing list of Fortune 500 companies such as GE Healthcare, SAP, and Oracle NetSuite, as well as healthcare organizations, governments, leading tech startups, and thousands of educational leaders across the globe. In the first three months of the COVID-19 pandemic, as many businesses struggled to stay afloat amid seismic operational and economic shifts, ThoughtExchange saw a year-over-year user growth of over 600%. The company has secured $50 million in funding to date, including $34M Series B funding in November 2020.
