ThoughtExchange Appoints CMO to New Role

Lauren Kelly is promoted to Chief Commercial Officer, unifying Marketing, Product, and Sales

August 08, 2022 – Rossland, BC –  ThoughtExchange, the world’s only Enterprise Discussion Management platform powered by patented anti-bias technology, has promoted CMO Lauren Kelly to the role of Chief Commercial Officer. 

In her newly appointed role, Kelly will oversee the company’s Product, Marketing, and Sales functions to ensure that ThoughtExchange customers have unbridled access to the true collective intelligence of their organizations.

As economic and market conditions present emerging challenges past the pandemic, global leaders are increasingly turning to simple, efficient tools that help them navigate uncertainty while prioritizing employee voice and experience. Kelly’s new role will enable ThoughtExchange’s customers with even better, faster and ahead-of-the-curve discussion management technology amidst the increasing pace of change.

Over the past 5 years ThoughtExchange has grown its revenue 479% and Enterprise customer base by over 5X, in parallel with a mainstream shift toward a distributed workforce and against the backdrop of a rapidly expanding enterprise employee experience tools market.

About Lauren Kelly 

Prior to ThoughtExchange, Lauren served as Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer for Irvine Company Office Properties. She has also held various sales, marketing, and strategy leadership roles at organizations including Dell and PepsiCo, as well as starting her career at Monitor Group, now part of Deloitte Consulting.

Outside of her primary roles, Lauren has years of industry experience advising and coaching business leaders across categories and sectors in strategy and marketing and has earned awards including California Diversity Council’s Top 50 Diverse Leaders and CMO of the Year by the Internet Marketing Association.

Lauren is a Non-Executive Board Director for Prophet, a founding member of Black Executive CMO Alliance, and serves on the boards of the Internet Marketing Association and CEO Leadership Alliance.
